Bogan Flats Campground
Tucked along the Crystal River just outside the quirky town of Marble, Bogan Flats Campground is a scenic gem in the White River National Forest. This peaceful, no-frills spot offers beautiful riverside sites surrounded by aspen groves and towering pines. There’s no electricity or sewer hookups, but you’ll find a reliable water pump, very clean vault toilets, picnic tables, and fire rings. The river access makes it perfect for relaxing, fishing, or just falling asleep to the sound of flowing water. It’s a favorite for those seeking a classic Colorado camping experience with stunning mountain scenery and easy access to hiking and biking trails in the area.
Passage Point at Copper Mountain
Passage Point offers the perfect year-round basecamp for your mountain adventure—ideal for families and adventurers alike. Nestled right at the base of Copper Mountain in the heart of Copper Village, this prime location puts you steps away from endless outdoor fun. In summer, hop on the gondola for breathtaking hikes with alpine views, or explore the extensive trail network on foot or by mountain bike. Kids will love the family-friendly activities right in the village, including bumper boats and fishing in the scenic little pond. When winter arrives, you’re ideally positioned for world-class skiing and snowboarding right out your door, with groomed runs and terrain parks just minutes away. The vibrant village atmosphere adds to the appeal with a wide variety of restaurants, lively après-ski spots, and regular live entertainment. We highly recommend Sauce for dinner—their ravioli is absolutely delicious and a standout favorite after a full day on the mountain.
